What are the differences between M12 A, B, D, and X coding?
Each M12 coding is keyed to prevent mismatching:
A-Coding: Standard for sensors, actuators, DC power, and basic I/O.
B-Coding: Primarily used for Fieldbus and Profibus industrial networks.
D-Coding: 4-pin configuration rated for 100 Mbps Industrial Ethernet / Profinet.
X-Coding: 8-pin shielded configuration designed for high-speed Cat6A 10 Gbps Ethernet.
